Joey has successfully completed youth coaching. Nevertheless, he is still uncertain about his career choices and wants to put himself on the test with a trip. Together with Xana, whom he met in youth coaching, he tries to fund money on the Internet. They form a colorful "tour group" and experience numerous adventures and discuss their problems. They do postings on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube and the group is becoming increasingly well-known, which is why a chewing gum corporation contacts the group. They want to buy the bus for a youth promotion. This last test almost brings the group apart ...
The speciality of this film
Adolescents with and without restrictions are not only performers, but also played a key role in the script development. Their experiences and future hopes are content of the film. Conversation situations on the bus and on the journey illustrate how to cope with crises. The film is specifically intended to use in schools and educational institutions.
Objectives
The chosen film format is deliberately cinematic - a long short film of about 35 minutes - which tells the moving story of 6 protagonists who have reconciled their lives with youth coaching. Elements relating to youth coaching offers are displayed via social media during the film.
The film is intended to break down potential barriers for young people when it comes to "help", "training" and "support". Because in this phase of life often it is COOL to negate occuring difficulties. The aim of the film is to show adolescents that someone is really cool when someone takes their own life into their own hands.
The film is used in all schools in Austria by DvD in class and is also available online.
